I tried UnAIMyText to make my writing sound more natural, but I’m not sure if the results are actually good or worth paying for. Some parts still feel awkward, and I need help figuring out if this tool is reliable, effective, and safe to use before I spend more money. I tried UnAIMyText because the offer looked hard to ignore. Free use, no login, no cap beyond 1,000 words per run. I thought it might be decent for quick cleanup jobs. It was not.
I ran outputs through GPTZero and got the same result over and over, 100% AI across Standard, Enhanced, and Aggressive. Bad score, sure. Still, the detector result was not even the main issue for me. The writing itself fell apart fast.
Standard mode landed around a 4/10 from what I saw. It kept spitting out weird made-up wording like 'anticipatable' and 'architectured.' Enhanced mode felt worse, maybe 3/10. One sample described melting ice with 'the dramatic leaving of the glaciers.' Another line was so mangled I had to reread it three times and still couldn't tell what point it was trying to make. Aggressive mode did not fix anything. It dropped the word 'robots' into a cybersecurity paragraph for no clear reason, then framed climate action as 'one of the good plays.' It read like a rough draft from a broken spinner.
Another thing I noticed, every mode padded the text. A short 200-word sample kept turning into 300 words or more. If you want tighter writing, this goes the other way. It adds bulk without adding clarity. I saw the same pattern in each setting, random synonym swaps, awkward phrasing, and no clear difference between modes beyond the label.
The privacy page also looked off. It talks about deleting accounts, even though there are no accounts to make in the first place. I can't prove anything from that alone, though it gave me the feeling the policy was pasted in from some generic template and never cleaned up.
After comparing it with a few other tools, the one I had a better run with was https://cleverhumanizer.ai. The outputs were stronger in my tests, and I did not hit a paywall while trying it.

I would not pay for UnAIMyText from what you described.
Awkward phrasing is the main red flag. If a tool’s whole job is to make text sound natural, awkward output means it failed. Detector scores matter less to me than readability. On this part, I agree with @mikeappsreviewer. If you still have to edit half the lines by hand, the tool saves you little time.
Where I differ a bit, free use has some value. If you need a fast rewrite of a rough AI draft, it might help with sentence variation. But I would treat it like a first-pass spinner, not a final writing tool. I would not use it for school, work, client copy, or anything you need to sound clean and human.
Quick way to judge it:
- Paste in 150 words of your own writing.
- Run one mode only.
- Read it out loud.
- Count how many lines sound off.
- If you fix more than 20 to 25 percent, it is not worth paying for.
Also check if it changes meaning. A lot of these tools do ths. They swap words, then your point gets blurry.
If you want an alternative, Clever Ai Humanizer is worth a look. I found it more stable on tone and less weird with word choice. Still, you should test with your own samples first. That part matters most.
I’d put UnAIMyText in the “usable only if you babysit every sentence” category.
I agree with @mikeappsreviewer on the awkward wording problem, but I’m a little less harsh on the detector stuff. AI detectors are flaky anyway, so “100% AI” by itself does not prove much to me. The bigger issue is whether the rewrite actually sounds like somethng a normal person would write. If it still reads stiff or weird, then the tool missed the point.
Where I agree more with @viajeroceleste is that free access has value. For messing around with rough drafts, sure, why not. But paying for it? Eh, probably not unless your tests are way better than what both of them saw.
My take:
- okay for rough rewording
- bad for polished final copy
- risky if tone and meaning matter
- not reliable enough to trust blind
If you want a steadier option, Clever Ai Humanizer is probly the one I’d test next. Not saying any tool is magic, but it tends to sound less forced from what I’ve seen. If UnAIMyText makes you stop and fix lines every paragraph, that’s your answer right there.
